Head Coaches are required to complete number items 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 below.  The rest are encouraged, not required.  Assistant Coaches are required to complete number items 3 & 4.  

Girls Mini-Scoopers (1st grade and below):

All Coaches are required to complete number items 3 & 4 below. Head Coaches are encouraged to complete number items 1, 2, and 5 as well.  Assistant Coaches are encouraged to complete number items 2, 5 and 7.  
 

1. Join US Lacrosse by going to http://www.uslacrosse.org to register. The cost is $50.00.
2. Enroll in the Level 1 Coaches online course.  (This is an excellent starting point for new coaches.)
3. Sign the NVYLL Coaches Code of Conduct.  Link will be available shortly.
4. Complete a background check.  Link will be available shortly.
5. Take the PCA Course, The PCA Double Goal Coach 1 course.
6. Complete the Heads-Up concussion training
7. NVYLL Coaches Rules Meeting (Date and Time will be announced). One coach from each Team is required to attend this meeting. There is an optional coaches training session in the afternoon following the meeting.  
8. We encourage the US Lacrosse Level 1 Instructional Clinic.
9. We encourage US Lacrosse Level 2 Instructional Clinic and online course. 
10. We encourage you to complete full Level 1 and/or Level 2 Coaching Certification.
