2017 Spring Girls Evaluation Info (Scroll down for full schedule)
Evaluations attempt to place each girl on a team with players of similar skill level to ensure a fun and competitive season for all players; from our most experienced returning players, to brand new girls that will be picking up a stick for the first time.
This season there are separate evaluations for our A and B level teams. All experienced players are invited to try out for the A team, but we ask that you only attend the evaluations if you would accept an A team invitation, and increased commitment that entails. These teams will face the A level teams from the other local area clubs and compete at the highest level in NVYLL. Players on the A team must attend 3 practices per week from March until June in addition to games on the weekend. The A team will also participate in an ice-breaker tournament that will require an additional entry fee of about $50/player. Players selected for the A team must commit to making lacrosse their top extra-curricular activity for the spring season.
If your daughter isn't interested in the A-Team, we field teams at the UB and LB level for all age groups as well. Our B teams are highly competitive as well, but require two practices per week in addition to Sunday games.
Players selected for the A Team do not need to attend B-Team evaluations. Players who attend A-Team evaluations but who are not selected for the A team should attend the B-Team evaluations. Please review the schedule below to identify where and when to attend evals. We ask that each player attend at least one eval, but highly recommend attending every session for your daughter's preferred team.
